People inspire people. Throughout my career as a photographer, many different people have inspired me. From friends to well known photographers, to other artists. Inspiration and creativity is in the air all around us. What we do with it is so exciting to share with the world.

My passion is my photography and being in such an artistic field, I enjoy coming up with creative sessions to express myself and keep my passion and love of photography alive. I have realized in my time as a photographer that keeping this passion alive is crucial because it enables me to love what I do and continue loving my career and myself.

Now if you haven’t guessed what artist has inspired me for this photo shoot, I highly recommend you go check out the band, The Struts. Last year I was so lucky to have gone to see them perform twice during their Young & Dangerous Tour in the US. Ever since I first heard their music, I was hooked and they have inspired me in many ways. From how I view myself as a person and even the creativity in my photography. I created this self portrait session as a sort of tribute to Luke Spiller, the lead frontman of The Struts.

I know this look is not necessarily how I look or how I am everyday, but it was a blast creating and photographing this character of myself. Sometimes creativity just comes out when you least expect it. I hope you enjoy these fun photos and check out the spectacular UK band, The Struts.
