"The Joy Of Being A Child" | Gretchen Elaine Photography Children Portraits
Children sessions are the sessions I have probably the most fun with. I get to run around, play games like hide and seek, and even play in the leaves and just be silly.
Don’t you wish every time you went to work was like this?
I am definitely lucky to say that this is how many of my sessions end up!
Thane was the best little model I could’ve asked for. After he started getting the hang of saying cheese and giving me the big grins, I told him he was doing an awesome job and asked him if he was practicing for me. I got a big, “Mhmmmmmmm!”
Throughout Thane’s 2nd year portraits, we had a variety of backgrounds and fun things to explore at the Historic Poole Forge. We played hide and seek around all the trees near the covered bridge. We ran around the field and played in leaves. He also brought an especially cool toy to ride around on for a shot!
He had so much fun running around, making silly faces, and giving the camera big “cheeses”! I just love how many expressions he could do. Throughout his whole session with the family, he had me cracking up!
Besides all the fun and games during his session, Thane also pulled off the serious biker pose. This was probably one of the coolest and cutest photos I have ever taken of a 2 year old, Thane is definitely one cool dude.
What other fun ideas are there for kids sessions? I love trying out new themes and ideas so message me and we will create the most fun portrait session for your kiddos!
