Many of you may have seen that our online shop for handmade props and lifestyle products / accessories is having a donation event for For Pete’s Sake Cancer Respite Foundation. That means with every order, 25% is being donated to this amazing organization! Our event is going on now through December 31st.

A little bit about For Pete’s Sake:

FPS doesn’t just provide an “experience”. They provide a complete emotional, psychological, spiritual and financial break from cancer. By planning and covering the costs of respite, they help patients, caregivers and children focus on TODAY. They help them breathe a little easier, hug a little tighter and laugh a little louder. Once they return, FPS Travelers (patients and their caregivers/children) are invited to monthly Lunch Bunch gatherings, a yearly reception and other events. Additionally, they offer ancillary resources including inspirational writings and information about support and bereavement groups. Our community is expansive, compassionate and impactful.

I found FPS through my mom’s cancer center, we were lucky enough to be chosen to be gifted this amazing opportunity to grow closer as family, meet other families in similar situations, and overall just take a break from cancer! It was something truly indescribable and I am so thankful to have had that time with my mom. FPS has given my family a community that understand all the ups and downs and are always there to support us. The team at FPS is truly like family and I love that we have built many relationships.

My parents raised us to give back to the community and organizations whenever we can. Community is a strong moral and value for my family. Because of this, I wanted to help send even more families battling cancer on a respite to take a break from cancer.

I know that even the smallest contribution will continue to add up and will ultimately give these families a vacation they will cherish for life. I want to continue to be a part of this community because they have given my family so much in ways words can’t describe.
