Family sessions this time of year are my all time favorite. The colors, the cozy clothes, the genuine love between my lovely customers. I know it can be daunting at first being in front of the lens, but the Barney family warmed up quickly and had a blast!

I have found over the years that fall is one of the best times to update your family portrait for several reason.

1) It is usually a nice temperature outside or a bit chilly, but tolerable.

2) The sunlight in the fall season is absolutely gorgeous all day.

3) Beautiful leaves and autumn colors to enhance the beauty of the background.

4) Just in time to send out a few prints to friends and families before the holidays!
