"Our Strength Will Grow Through Community"
I come from a small town; many know of it as the “Coolest Small Town in America” or the place that has Wilbur Buds and “The Best Beer Bar in the Nation” (Bulls Head Public House). However you know Lititz, you must know how tight knit and strong the community is. Being a local of Lititz, I am so proud of everything that makes our town so special. The best part about our town is the people. No matter the event, the turn out of people coming and showing their support is amazing! Today, I wanted to feature the annual Lititz Fire & Ice Festival 2019 and The Scouts’ performance at the event.
These guys performed at the 2018 Festival and luckily were invited back, they were a hit! The crowd of people that came out to enjoy all the festivities enjoyed a mix of The Scouts’ personal songs along with a few cover songs. When they played, the crowd stopped milling around and gathered around the stage in the middle of Lititz Pike. No matter the age, everyone was head bobbing and tapping their feet.
The Scouts’ performance at the festival reminded me of the love and support our growing community has for local businesses and organizations. Whether it’s shopping at the local shops or coming out to listen to the local rising band rock out on stage, a good time is had by all in the small town of Lititz. I am proud to be a resident and part of the community of this little town!
