Family portraits, big and small, are so much fun especially when they take place celebrating a life milestone!

This family portrait session was extra special because everyone came together to celebrate Gerry’s Retirement. It was a wonderful party with all of their friends and family and the portraits turned out amazing.

When photographing extended family portraits, I not only photograph the entire family as a whole, but also each family’s kids with the grandparents. I think it is so special to be able to photograph all the combinations of the family and everyone together because as we all know, it can be difficult gathering everyone for a session!

It was a pleasure being a part of Gerry and Lisa’s special evening last fall, and I am so happy we finally were able to get their entire family portraits. Their session was definitely one of a kind and it worked out wonderfully!
