"Once You Plant Seeds Of Success, Your Tree Will Bear Fierce Fruit"

I am very excited to share with all of you a little bit more about one of my personal projects and my intent behind it. As a photographer, although I am pretty busy with different sessions and events, I always try to make some time to create a few personal projects from time to time.

I have been in many different caves over the course of 5 or 6 years. I had the idea a while ago to combine my love for portrait photography and being underground. I am so lucky to have met Kayla, who is an amazing dancer by the way, and that she agreed to come on this little adventure with me!

We took photos inside and outside the cave in different dance costumes. It was so neat to photograph Kayla because each outfit gave a different feeling and mood. From inside the cave with a striking red costume, which was fierce and strong, to outside the cave in a lilac purple which was almost fairy-like.

This session reminded me of several model portfolios I have done in the past because in each outfit, Kayla pulls off a different style and attitude. That is one of my favorite reasons why I love  working on model portfolios because each outfit series can make the model look like a totally different person.
